Celebrate International Dot Day at Your School!

Have you heard of International Dot Day? Based upon the children’s book written by Peter H. Reynolds, International Dot Day is all about encouraging children (and adults) to take courage and express their creativity. Millions of teachers, parents, and children have been inspired by the “dot” to make their mark. This year join the celebration on September 15th by creating, learning, and collaborating.

Visit the International Dot Day’s Facebook to see what other educators are doing.

Encourage creativity at your school!

Throughout the school year, find ways to encourage students to discover their creativity. Whether you help grow your library’s makerspace or provide additional materials for classroom activities, it is undeniable that creativity has a role in the future of education. Download this month’s poster, inspired by the man who created the world of Marvel, to cultivate a culture of imagination and innovation at your school.
